Rainy Days

There have been wild storms this weekend, so I decided to stay inside and make a skirt with my new sewing machine. When i dropped into the spotlight near me I discovered they have an enormous range of quilting fabrics in so many beautiful designs! I just had to buy some, and decided to display them in embroidery rings above my bed. I took lots of pictures so you can do it too.

I like this idea because it is relatively inexpensive. The vintage designs and bright colours create a nice warmth. I did a similar thing using Asian designed inspired paper.
